The person behind the perfume
Before perfume, there was tea. Years as a tea blend master taught me to notice how an ingredient’s origin, character and treatment can change an entire composition.
That curiosity still guides my work. I seek out rare and overlooked materials, spend time with growers, and learn what each ingredient can become in a perfume.
From bespoke fragrances to the Ballet Collection, my starting point is personal: the relationship between a composition and the skin that wears it.

A fragrance can reflect your tastes, your memories and your personality. My bespoke work goes further: I study the skin that will wear it. Your natural scent, the way a composition develops on you, and your response to it guide what I create.
As an educated perfumer and flavourist, I bring together expertise in scent creation, skin behaviour and olfactory response: how fragrance is perceived and experienced. I pay attention to the interaction between a material and your natural scent, choosing ingredients for the way they integrate with you.
Your preferences begin our conversation, but they are not the whole brief. The defining question is how a fragrance lives on your skin. My aim is a composition that brings out its most beautiful qualities and feels unmistakably your own.

Origins & materials
Knowing an ingredient means more than knowing its name. My work with small growers in Sri Lanka brings me closer to the people, places and patient processes behind the materials I use.
Ceylon agarwood, Sri Lankan sandalwood and jasmine sambac sit alongside less familiar materials such as mahleb, brown boronia and katsura leaf. Their individual character gives me a reason to work with them.

The most personal part is the encounter itself: experiencing a composition on your skin, giving it time, and discovering how it feels to you.
