Extrait de parfum

The most concentrated version of a personal fragrance.

Usually contains between 20% and 50% perfume concentrate. But this is not all of that.

Extrait de parfum contains a high amount of long lasting natural ingredients, like woods, resins, absolutes and essential oils as well.

Due to it`s high concentration it is often more expensive, than other forms of perfume, such as eau de parfum, eau de toilette, or eau de cologne.

Extrait de parfum or perfume extract is often considered the most luxurious form of perfume, as it has a longer wear time on the skin and stronger projection.

It should be applied to key areas of the body, such as the wrists, neck and behind the ears.

However due to it`s high concentration, extrait de parfum may be too strong for some people and can sometimes be considered overpowering or even overwhelming, but can be a high value or even a status symbol for others.

It is definitely not only a fragrance, but also a mark of luxury.
